OUR GRANTS

Grant requests from Christian Horizons or CH Global are received and prioritized by the Governors of the Christian Horizons Foundation and support is provided as funds are available. Grants are usually awarded to capital projects rather than day-to-day operational costs.

For example, the Christian Horizons Conference Centre, in Paisley, Ontario, receives no provincial funding assistance and benefits from Foundation support. Each year, eight to 12 people enjoy an outdoor vacation at the Conference Centre through the generosity of an Endowment Fund. This fund helps individuals with exceptional needs who cannot otherwise afford camp registration fees.  A standard means test is required for consideration for an assistance grant. 

An Employees’ Endowment Fund was created through the generosity of Christian Horizons employees. With these and other funds, our founding members acquired a commercial property in Toronto. The property has been leased to Christian Horizons for its Central District office, enabling them to operate two shifts of day care programs daily.

Several families have established Family Endowment Funds enabling them to continue supporting Christian Horizons’ ministries into the future. Our supporters appreciate knowing that, through the Foundation, their contributions can endure over time and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
